Over the past four days, the `diary` from the quarantine area in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City of Nguyen Thuy Dung, 28 years old, studying for a master’s degree in International Law, HanYang University (Korea) has become a watched topic.

Nguyen Thuy Dung just returned to the quarantine area in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City at 2:00 a.m. on February 27.

When Covid-19 broke out in Korea, Thuy Dung had no intention of returning to Vietnam because many times from school to boarding house, she had to go through protest groups in the capital Seoul and may have contracted nCoV from someone.

But her mother in Hanoi called every two hours urging her to return to Vietnam.

To reassure her mother, even though she couldn’t book a ticket back to Hanoi, Dung agreed to fly from Seoul to Ho Chi Minh City on the evening of February 26 with the thought `after all, being in my country is better.`

On her personal Facebook page, the girl recounted the entire process from the moment she landed until she was picked up by the car to the quarantine area and concluded: `…having a homeland like this to return to, I really don’t know how to thank her anymore.`

Thuy Dung’s post received more than 2,000 `likes`.

Also from that article, Thuy Dung’s online diary was born with the name `Dear, when I was 28 years old, my mother was quarantined`.

The first morning when I woke up at the center, as soon as I walked out the door, the blue hospital gown was neatly arranged by the medical staff, placed on a plastic chair in front of the door, waiting for Dung to come get it.

`They say there are two things that can’t be hidden: coughing and love. Thank God, in this situation I haven’t coughed yet but I’m so in love. Are Saigon people inherently cute like this or am I lucky enough to be around anyone?

Even though she was in the quarantine area, Thuy Dung did not feel any inconvenience.

In the second post of the first day of quarantine, Thuy Dung declared, `I should do something to show my gratitude to Ho Chi Minh City` and the girl decided… to clean the toilet. `Young age

People living in the quarantine area with Thuy Dung play badminton – the most suitable sport because players must stand more than 2 meters away from each other, ensuring safety to avoid nCoV infection.

Suddenly becoming famous throughout the country made Thuy Dung a bit surprised.

But `only eating and resting` also made the Hanoi girl afraid that she would gain weight out of control, so she and everyone invited each other to order a set of badminton rackets to play in the morning and afternoon.

What Dung hopes most now is that no one here and herself is infected.

Thuy Dung edited the lyrics `Let Me tell you` and recorded the video herself into a song to encourage everyone to be optimistic and prevent the Covid-19 epidemic.

For the past two days, Dung has stopped ordering food from outside because she has to use plastic bags and plastic straws a lot.

After four days of quarantine, Thuy Dung’s health is still good, with no unusual signs. She has adapted to her new lifestyle, but the thing she is most worried about is not knowing whether she is infected with nCoV or not.

`I miss my mother. Saigon is so wonderful to me, but Hanoi is my home, my family… I have to be positive so that the aunts and uncles who are taking care of me and serving me every day will be less tired.`
