Citing many countries with passive economic potential and overloaded health systems, the Prime Minister emphasized the need to clearly determine the fierce and unpredictable nature of the epidemic.

The Prime Minister affirmed that the locality has made economic and social sacrifices for social distancing, `in return, we must control the epidemic during this time.`

According to the Resolution issued by the Government on August 10, Ho Chi Minh City strives to control the epidemic before September 15;

`Implementation is still the weak stage, the grassroots is still the weakest stage. Where commune and ward leaders still have a vague grasp of the guiding content, people certainly do not have good access to social security and health care.`

He suggested that localities when providing food and essential services to people should pay attention to three groups: People who have economic conditions but need help;

Research on relocating some people from high population density areas in red zones (very high risk) to safe places for social distancing is also one of the suggestions set forth by the Prime Minister.

Regarding social security work, Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung said that to date, more than 15 million people have been supported;
