`Djokovic was not healthy when he arrived in Monte Carlo last week,` coach Ivanisevic told Eurosport after his student Djokovic lost his opening match at the Monte Carlo Masters.

Djokovic has won two and lost two matches since the beginning of 2022, his best result being the quarterfinals of the Dubai Championship.

Djokovic lost to Davidovich Fokina in three sets in the second round of the Monte Carlo Masters.

`To be honest, we did not expect Djokovic to play well in Monte Carlo,` Ivanisevic added.

Djokovic plans to compete at the Madrid Open and Rome Masters, before attending Roland Garros from May 22.

Ivanisevic, Djokovic’s only coach right now after the world number one tennis player parted ways with Marian Vajda, said that his student always knows how to find form before major tournaments.

Ivanisevic, the former world number two and the only person to win Wimbledon thanks to a special ticket to the tournament, also cited Djokovic playing well at the end of last season, after a long break due to failure at the Tokyo Olympics.

`No one can stop Djokovic from attending the Olympics,` Ivanisevic expressed.
